Baby Bella

This was one of those shoots where I couldn't wait to get home and look at this baby over and over again.  Arriving at the house, the door opened and there stood a tired yet glowing mommy, holding her baby as though she had done this before.  The love she and her husband had for her baby was evident throughout the entire shoot.  There was love and yet still that small amount of fear that they just brought this baby into the world and she is depending on them for everything.  It was beautiful.

A New Year

On New Year's Eve, we were fortunate to photograph a beautiful family of 5.  We have been friends with the "R" family for many years.  Their family added a new member almost two years ago when one of their daughters married the man of her dreams.  We unfortunately could not make that wedding as we were also adding to our family (Ella Jane).  I had so much fun taking these photos.  It was easy to shoot such a photogenic group of people.

The "B" family is one of those families that you look at and say "WOW".  As I walked up the stairs to meet these gals (and dad) I thought, "look at all those luscious locks!"

Baby "P"

Newborn portraits....hmmm...definitely not the easiest project, but do I ever love me some baby love!  This photo shoot included a grandma, a mommy, and a baby, and pure love!  This family was so caring, so honest, and ever so refreshing from the moment I talked with them on the phone.  From the initial explosion (inside joke between us), to frequent feedings, to the needing to be just held and loved by her mommy; baby "P" kept us on our toes.  The innocence of this tiny little being was so easy to capture, as was the love and patience her mommy had for her.
